PROJECT SAMARAI
Project Samarai (Verein Samarai) is a non-profit organization based in Zürich, Switzerland.

Project Samarai has been initiated by Martin Nüesch and Jiri Kudrna in 2014 as the sole proprietor of all Samarai-products and source code. It has been founded in 2017 as a non-profit association according to Swiss law. Its main mission is development coordination and strategic planning of Samarai technology and related projects. It ensures that all of the projects are and remain open source.

Project Samarai is currently financed by donations from its members.
Samarai is an open-source project with the aim to develop frameworks and tools for universal data and semantic graph languages.
​
At the center of Samarai is Havel, a semantic graph language inspired by fundamental features of human logic. Havel is based on universal data and the semanto-relational data model.
​Universal data, the semanto-relational data model, graph languages, information modelling, situation modelling, universal ideation and story abstracts are technologies, concepts and terms proposed by Project Samarai.
